Final Cost $1.53

I made a great trip to CVS this morning!  I was able to buy 3 Skintimate shaving creams, a box of Teddy Bear crackers, 2 Crest ProHealth toothpaste, 2 Flinstone vitamins, 2 Dawn Hand Renewal dish soap, Suave Kids Shampoo, Coppertone Kids Sunscreen , and CVS brand adult sunscreen all for a final cost of $1.53.

Keep in mind that I had numerous ECB and coupons saved up.  That is very easy to do if you shop at CVS frequently.  I bought the 2 Dawn Hand Renewal dish soaps priced at $0.97 each and used 2- $1/1 coupons to make these both FREE!  I bought 2 Crest ProHealth tootpastes for $3.49 each and received $2.50 ECB back on each ($5 ECB total) plus I used a coupon for $1/1 and another coupon for $0.75/1 for a final cost of $0.25 for both!  The Skintimate shaving creams I purchased because I had 3 free coupons.  All 3 were totally FREE!  Suave Kids Shampoo was priced at 3/$5 or $1.16 each and used a coupon for $0.50/1 for a final cost of $1.16.  Coppertone Sunscreen priced at $8.99 and receive $2 ECB.  For a final cost of $6.99.  CVS Sunscreen was $5.99.  The sunscreen was not on sale but we were in need of more.  Flinstone Vitamins were not on my shopping list but the magic coupon machine gave me a coupon for $3.00/1 and I had a manufacturer coupon for $1/1.  I went to check the price of vitamins and found that they were buy one get one 1/2 off.  I bought 2 Flinstone vitamins for $7.24.  Less than the cost of 1 box at regular price!  Finally I picked up a box of CVS Teddy Bear cookies for $1 (regular price).  I had a coupon for 25% off my total sale from email (sign up your CVS card to receive special offers by email).  My final cost after all my coupons and ECBs was $8.53 and I got $7 ECB back for a final cost of $1.53 for all 13 items.

  2. Thanks Shonda! I had no idea that you could save so much money by shopping at CVS. It is now one of my favorite go to stores. You earn money back as well so each quarter you will receive ECBs for every dollar you spent (I think it's something like 2% back). This last quarter ends at the end of March so I'm excited to get my ECBs on April 1st. Another reason to shop at CVS!
